Following is a web site that has been public since last spring; it is a love story about two people who sustained severe traumatic brain injuries by car and motorcycle accidents. The young woman was blinded by her brain injury, the man ended up in a wheelchair.

While many of Journey's flashpoints turn on the romance, most of the story falls in the action and adventure genre.

The cover art is a watercolor sketch by one of Seattle leading fine-art artists, Jon Kalin.

More about the story, including a review by Project Gutenberg founder Michael Hart, are on the book's home page:

This week's meditation:
Walking in Warriors' Shadows

As we come to know our inner radiance
opportunities manifest themselves.
When we realize our impermanence,
we understand eternity.

Meanings and purposes change like
the seasons of this Dance.
Understanding where we fit in Life's grand scheme,
we stride in warriors' eternal shadows.

The homepage that memorialized 9/11 is gone. It did what I intended; it touched on the intolerance that relious extremism can cause. Fortunately, the present and future hold the hope that, only a few years ago, seemed altogether unlikely.
